The problem
A proper Instagram audit is the best sales document a social strategist has. It proves you actually looked. It is also hours of unpaid work per prospect: scrolling the grid, comparing posts, checking competitors, writing it all up so it reads like judgement rather than a data dump.
The obvious shortcut, pasting a profile into a chatbot, produces the opposite of proof. Generic observations, confident claims about posts that do not exist, nothing a professional would put their name on. So audits stay manual, and most prospects never get one.

Scores what actually moves accounts
Posting cadence, hashtags, content mix, engagement quality, top posts against bottom posts, and the bio itself. Reels get their own craft score across eight dimensions, from hook to pacing.
Competitor context built in
Up to three competitor handles analysed alongside the account, so the audit says where the client stands rather than how they look in isolation. Repeat audits track the same account month to month.

The audit arrives as a branded PDF, and the strategist can redline it by chatting with the system: tighten a claim, cut a section, reword a recommendation. The human signs it off, every time.

Why it holds up in production
An audit is worthless the first time a client catches it citing a post that does not exist. So the engine enforces one rule without exceptions: every recommendation must point at real, named evidence from the account. Before a PDF ships, a final review pass, deliberately built without any AI in it, checks every citation against the actual posts. Anything it cannot tie to real data gets dropped, not reworded.
The same discipline applies to money and access. Each audit runs under a hard cost ceiling enforced in the pipeline, and the system only ever reads public data. Nothing to connect, nothing to authorise, no client passwords sitting in anyone's inbox.
